The GARDENA Robotic Lawnmower can handle gradients within the work area of up to 25% (this means a difference in height of 25 cm for each metre travelled). At the boundary wire (edge of lawn area), the maximum permissible gradient is 10% in order to prevent the mower from slipping over the boundary wire when reaching the grass boundary when the grass is wet.
