During the frost season, electrical and especially battery-powered devices should be stored in a frost-proof place.
The reasons are:
- Plastic parts become brittle at cold temperatures and are then at risk of breaking even under low force
- Electronic parts/boards have components that could be damaged at very low temperatures in individual cases
- Batteries lose their capacity irretrievably at cold temperatures
- Batteries run down faster
