The SILENO free models are our wireless solution for intelligent lawn care, which does not require additional antennas or transmission masts.
The SILENO free navigates exclusively via GPS signals (GNSS), which the robotic lawnmower receives directly via the satellites.
Additional correction values (RTK) are sent directly to the robotic lawnmower using the included smart gateway.
However, with the SILENO free models, there may be deviations due to the GPS tolerance. Local conditions can have an influence here.
In order to be able to operate the SILENO free, the use of the GARDENA smart app is required, as all necessary settings and adjustments are made there.
After mounting the installation aid on the housing, the installation of the virtual boundary can be carried out via a "remote control" of the robotic lawnmower.
To do this, you control the robotic lawnmower clockwise along the border of the mowing area with the help of a "remote control", which is displayed in the GARDENA smart app. When changing direction or at the corners, waypoints must be set. You can find detailed step-by-step instructions in the GARDENA smart app. For this purpose, it is necessary to integrate the robotic lawnmower into the GARDENA smart system.
Within this virtual boundary, mowing areas and no-go zones can be set up.
