Malfunctions and faults with the 6000/5 inox automatic deep well pump are usually caused by dirt or deposits on the non-return valve. To ensure that this pump switches on and off properly, the non-return valve must be free of dirt. This is the only way for this device to achieve optimum efficiency after commissioning and thus enable error-free automatic operation. Suspended particles, sand and dirt in the water can settle on the non-return valve and prevent it from closing properly. This leads to a malfunction. The non-return valve of the premium deep well pump 6000/5 inox automatic art. no. 1499 can be removed for cleaning or replacement without voiding the warranty.
Removing the non-return valve:

However, do not remove the electrical supply cable, as this will open the electrical area of the pump!
1. disconnect the pump from the power supply and secure it against being switched on again.
2. Loosen 3 Torx screws (item 18).
3. remove the cover (item 19).
4. pull out the complete connection piece (items 17, 20 and 22) upwards using pliers and clean under clear running water if necessary
5. remove the non-return valve (items 22 and 23)
6. remove dirt from the non-return valve (with a cloth or old toothbrush) and rinse under clean tap water. Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, otherwise the seals may be attacked and/or destroyed.
7. installation is carried out in reverse order
