How can a stuck filter be removed from the garden pumps?

It is possible that the filter of the garden pump is difficult to remove due to dirt / sand.

If the filter cannot be removed by hand as described below, use pliers to remove the filter.

The filter cup can detach from the filter and remain in the pump.

First remove the remaining dirt and then remove the filter cup with the pliers. Replace the filter and the cup here.
