The switch-on and switch-off pressure can be adjusted as described below:
CAUTION: Electrical appliances may only be repaired by a qualified electrician in accordance with the statutory regulations. There is a risk of electric shock at the connection terminals in the pressure switch if the appliance is not repaired properly.
The pressure switch can be set as follows:
Open the pressure line so that the pump starts up and read the switch-on pressure on the pressure gauge
Close the pressure line so that the pump switches off and read the switch-off pressure on the pressure gauge
Pull the mains plug out of the socket
Unscrew the cover of the pressure switch
Set the switch-on pressure: Turn adjusting screw 1:
Direction + = increases the switch-on pressure
Direction - = reduces the switch-on pressure
Refit the cover
Start up the domestic waterworks, stop water withdrawal, the pump must switch off. If not, the switch-off pressure (pressure difference) must be reduced
Change the pressure difference (switch-off pressure): Turn adjusting screw 2:
Direction + = increases the cut-out pressure
Direction - = reduces the cut-out pressure
If necessary, repeat the steps.
If the switch-off pressure is set too high, the pressure switch may no longer switch off the appliance. This poses a risk of injury from hot water and damage to the pump.
We therefore recommend setting the switch-off pressure at least 0.2 bar lower than the maximum pressure possible on the domestic water system!
