Please check the Power LED and Internet LED on the gateway. Both LEDs must be permanently green, if this is not the case follow the instructions in the FAQ "Gateway is offline".
If the LEDs on the gateway light up green, we recommend that you restart your smart gateway by unplugging it once and plugging it back in again.
To connect the robotic lawnmower to the smart account, the device should be charged and the integration mode should be activated. To do this, go to the robotic lawnmower menu and then to the "smart system" item (symbol of a tulip). Activate the connection mode here. The connection code will then appear.
Then go to "Overview" in your GARDENA smart app. At the bottom you will find an orange button "Integrate device". Now select the model category here.
Then navigate through the installation instructions until the search is started. During the search, you will see a round, rotating circle. During the search, the robotic lawnmower should then appear in the list below. Here you can compare the connection code in the displayed robotic lawnmower with the connection code in the app to make sure that this is the correct robotic lawnmower.
Then tap on the robotic lawnmower and complete the integration.
IMPORTANT: The robotic lawnmower's connection mode remains active for approx. 2 minutes and then switches off again automatically if no connection is made.
Please ensure that the device is not too far away from the gateway for the integration process. Ideally, place the smart device in the direct vicinity of the gateway for integration.
If the integration still fails, we recommend removing the robot's battery, waiting at least one hour and then reinstalling the battery.
This measure will reboot the radio board and it should communicate again as usual.
Removing the battery:
- Switch off the robotic lawnmower.
- Set the cutting height to MIN.
- Depending on the model, you will find 2 or 4 screws on the underside of the robotic lawnmower, which you should loosen.
- Now remove the cover.
- Unplug the battery cable.
- Release the retaining clips (if present).
- Then pull out the battery.
Install in reverse order.
Now you can start the binding process again.
